The successful applicant may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 each year until 2025 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU collective agreement. Position Overview Experience Minimum of 2 years recent Adult Intensive Care Nursing experience, required. Background in research methodology preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required. Basic statistics course, preferred. Certification/Licensure/Registration Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM). Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy. Qualifications and Skills Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA). Highly motivated with very strong organizational skills. Meticulous and detail oriented. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Willingness to adapt to new ideas, concepts and changes. Ability to function as a team player, functioning independently, but cooperatively with all disciplines. Reliable and accountable. Basic computer skills required (i.e. knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of various common software applications including: spreadsheets, word processing and database programs, internet and e-mail applications). This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment. Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
