Job Summary Laura Mitchell Centre, Great Albion Street, Halifax, HX1 1YR Permanent, Full time, 10 Programmed Activities per week plus on-call (part time may be considered) South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to Calderdale Calder Valley Enhanced Team based at the Laura Mitchell Centre, Halifax. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our Enhanced Team delivers high quality, evidence-based care to some of the most complex and vulnerable individuals in our community. The role is essential in shaping service development, maintaining clinical excellence, and ensuring that patients receive timely, compassionate care that supports recovery and enhances quality of life. Eligibility Essential Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment. Included on the GMC Specialist Register for general adult psychiatry OR within six months of gaining CCT. Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within three months of appointment. Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within three months of appointment. Desirable In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice. Qualifications Essential MB BS or equivalent medical qualification. Desirable Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management. MRCPsych.
