As we continue to grow and support both internal initiatives and client-facing projects, we are expanding our capabilities in data storytelling and product visualization.Position OverviewAs a Data Visualization Developer at Collavion, you will design and develop sophisticated dashboards and data experiences using Altair, Streamlit, Panel, or similar tools. You\'ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to turn data into intuitive, visually engaging insights through clean, maintainable code.The ideal candidate is a creative technologist with deep experience in Python-based visualization libraries, and the ability to build complex interactions like dropdowns, radio buttons, brush selectors, and slider bars to enhance user-driven exploration of data.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement rich, interactive data visualizations using Altair in PythonBuild end-user-facing dashboards using frameworks such as Streamlit, Panel, or similar open source web-based toolsDevelop custom interactivity features (e.g., brush selectors, dropdowns, radio buttons, sliders) to support intuitive user explorationIntegrate and manipulate data from multiple sources (CSV, APIs, databases) to power visualizationsOptimize performance and scalability of dashboards for remote and browser-based useWrite clean, modular code and maintain clear documentationStay up to date with new tools and techniques in the Python visualization ecosystemPreferred Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in data visualization or dashboard developmentStrong Python skills with extensive experience using Altair for visualizationProven ability to build complex interactive UIs using Streamlit, Panel, Dash, or similar toolsSolid understanding of visualization principles, usability, and data storytellingExperience integrating visualizations with APIs or data pipelinesFamiliarity with version control (Git), and agile or iterative workflowsBonus: knowledge of Vega-Lite, Bokeh, or other declarative visualization librariesStrong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhy Join Collavion?Be part of a growing company where your work directly influences product, recruitment strategy, and business intelligenceWork remotely with a flexible, supportive, and highly collaborative teamOpportunity to work on both internal innovation and client-facing projectsPush the boundaries of visual storytelling in industries like AI, healthcare, and gamingAutonomy to experiment, build, and own the visual layer of data solutionsLove data and design equally?
