Let's roll your career with MTY A delicious future awaits you #Letsroll #TastyfutureThe MTY Group is a family whose heart beats to the rhythm of its brands and its employees.Over the past 40 years, EXCELLENCE, ENTHUSIASM and INNOVATION have led us to success.Today, we continue to look for talented professionals who want to work for a company that will offer them opportunities for growth and many rewarding experiences.MTY offers its employees dynamic, unique and valuable professional experience.3 weeks of vacation5 days of flexible sick leaves$2000 reimbursement for professional certifications and continuing education requirementsHalf-day Fridays year-roundCompany health and dental plans, with an additional $300 personal wellness expense accountEmployee assistance program with access to mental health, legal, and financial counseling servicesEmployee profit-sharing plan with employer contributionMonthly company-wide recognition awardsCompany social events, including webinars, town halls, and team activitiesCasual dress codeFree parking at the officeRESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across multiple banners.Execute month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, reclasses, suspense clearing, and related journal entries.Execute quarter-end close activities, including promotional fund reallocations, bonus true-ups, and various operational and corporate accruals.Perform monthly sales and royalty reconciliations across multiple brands.Provide financial reports and value-added analysis to operational teams.Support the finance team with ad-hoc requests, including tax provisions and audit support.Support the preparation of non-consolidated financial statements through ownership of key reconciliations.Assist in preparation of the monthly standalone P&L and support business partners with financial reportingPROFILEBachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA or CPA-candidate preferred)3–5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experienceStrong proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, Power Queries), experience with SAP is an assetStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailStrong ability to manipulate large data sets and produce detailed financial reportsAdaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to write concisely and cohesivelyPlease note that any offer of employment will be conditional upon a background check, including a criminal record check.*The majority of our clients and a large proportion of our employees are outside Quebec*. #J-18808-Ljbffr
