Reviews will include research, evaluation of performance and recommendations for improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operating unit.* Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of the City’s asset management plan.* Will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned**Position Requirements:*** Minimum is a University Degree in Accounting or Finance.* Professional accounting designation (CPA).* Completion of a municipal accounting or finance program would be an asset.* At least three (3) years’ experience in accounting, budgeting and capital asset planning.* Experience with Public Sector Accounting and/or not for profit accounting standards is an asset.**Vacancy Type:**Contract (Two-year, fixed term)**Note(s):**2025 salary range quoted, 2026 range to be determined.**How to apply:**Please submit your application including a cover letter and resume through Workday using the apply button above.The City of Niagara Falls is dedicated to creating an accessible and inclusive organization and fostering a workplace culture which reflects the diverse nature of the residents we serve.
