OverviewProduction Support Developer role at FNZ. Great opportunity to join the application support team for the FNZ business. It involves issue management from external and internal clients to meet KPIs and SLAs and to liaise with other areas of FNZ to ensure a robust and scalable production environment for all FNZ’s customers.ResponsibilitiesApplication Support – ensure that the application is maintained and working efficiently and against agreed service levels.Issue Management – analyse, investigate, and allocate for resolution and closure for all issues.Change Management – support guidance for testing and release process for production fixes.Project Handover – facilitate the transition between project support and production support for all change.Service Support – support the Service Managers in delivering FNZ services within KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations.Specific Role Responsibilities – investigate errors in live high-end platforms; research and fix defects based on description; develop code, scripts, schemas required to solve complex technical issues; investigate problems on databases, web and application servers; deal with performance issues; communicate with Production Support Analysts and Testers; automate manual processes within Production Support (CSI); work in a group of highly skilled support developers to resolve production issues.Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in software engineering, or equivalent.Good understanding of OOP and ability to debug code and understand log entries.Experience with C/C++ and Java programming.Experience in Relational Databases - MS SQL Database or Oracle is preferred.5 or more years production support experience in banking or financial vendors across multiple technologies/platforms is a plus.Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in conveying ideas and winning the trust of stakeholders and clients.Willingness to learn new things; there is a lot to learn and master.Logical thinking, positive can-do attitude and reverse engineering skills.Excellent English skills, written and verbal.Basic knowledge of core banking processes and tools is key.Desired Skills (Not Required)Knowledge of ITIL.Basics in JavaScript and HTML.MS technologies experience like Visual Studio and ReSharper.Fluent proficiency in French (written and spoken) is a plus.Experience with system administration in Linux/Unix.What FNZ OffersA competitive base salary, bonus, and paid time off.FNZ will match pension plan contributions at 150%, up to 4% total Employee Contribution.Employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance, and more.Mission-led environment where you can be proud of the impact you make daily, transforming wealth management for millions of people.Learning & development – emphasis on continuous learning, thinking differently, creativity, and driving innovation.Be part of a rapidly growing, global business delivering financial services via cloud computing.About FNZFNZ is committed to opening up wealth so that everyone, everywhere can invest in their future on their terms.
