We’re a technology company that leads with our humanity—driving our business priorities alongside meaningful social, community, and societal impact.**Scopee:**Ciena NPI Test Engineering Team is looking for a dynamic Coop Student, who like software and hardware, to contribute to the introduction of New Ciena Platform Products.The successful candidate, under the supervision of a NPI Test Engineer, will participate in Test development, prototype testing/debugging and station design/assembly. **Responsibilities:**Depending on the life cycle of the product, the candidate will:* Participate in the design/Assembly of Test Station* Participate in the development of Test Sequences/cases* Help validating Test cases on Prototypes* Help Debugging prototype units,* Help Documenting Test station, Test Sequences & debug procedures.**Education:*** Enrolled in bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering**Experiences & skills*** Software coding skills (C, C#, Python, RegEx, etc…)* Excellent Electronics knowledge and debugging skills.* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills* Great communications skills.**Job Type:** Full Time**Job Location:** Ciena Ottawa (Office/Lab Environment)**Durations:** Looking for at least 2 Terms (8 months), with possibility of extension.Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
