Be a part of Har El, North Shore’s premier Hebrew school, as a part-time teacher for Pre-K or Grade 4. Teach on Sunday mornings for 3-4 hours to inspire the next generation.
At Har El, we focus on enriching young lives through Jewish education. Pre-K classes emphasize play and creativity, while Grade 4 lessons delve into Jewish traditions and basic Hebrew language skills. Your role will enhance both educational experiences and community relationships for families.
Key Responsibilities
• Create interactive and age-appropriate lesson plans
• Introduce basic Hebrew through engaging activities
• Conduct Hebrew blessings before meals
• Weave Jewish culture and traditions into lessons
• Encourage connections among students and families
Requirements:
• Strong foundation in Jewish holidays and culture
• Experience integrating Jewish themes into teaching
• Passion for early childhood education
• Pre-K: Hebrew knowledge helpful but not mandatory
• Grade 4: Familiarity with Hebrew Alef-Bet a must Join us in nurturing young Jewish learners and creating a loving educational community.
