You’ll champion a strong risk culture and ensure operational, and compliance risks are proactively identified, assessed, and managed. You’ll work closely with business leaders to implement frameworks, monitor controls, and support regulatory compliance.**Key responsibilities:*** Lead Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and ensure alignment with bank-wide frameworks* Test the design and operating effectiveness of controls* Manage Risk-In-Change processes for new initiatives and systems* Manage incidents, issues, and complaints end-to-end, including root cause analysis and remediation* Contribute to reporting for senior leadership and the Executive Risk Committee* Deliver targeted risk and compliance training and foster a proactive risk culture* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across risk and compliance practicesYou’re a confident, detail-oriented professional with a strong risk mindset and the ability to influence behaviours across the business.You’re a pro with:* Proven experience in operational risk and/or compliance within banking or financial services* Solid understanding of key regulatory obligations, eg. CCCFA, AML/CFT* Experience with RCSAs, control testing, and incident management* Exposure to executive-level reporting and governance* A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred)* Strong communication skills and resilience in fast-paced environments***This role closes on 11 January.
