This role will ideally suit a professional with a proven track record of exceptional communication and technical skills in the assurance practice primarily on compilations. A primary role of the CRC Senior Manager is to provide support and guidance to offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can effectively leverage the CRC on their compilations work.The focus will be to support engagement teams working on compilations and to formalize processes and policies for Risk Management and regulatory compliance purposes.What You Will DoOperationsOversee day-to-day operations in collaboration with other members of the CRC national management team.Provide support to enterprise and ECS engagement teams to leverage the Assurance CRC effectively.Assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and implementing solutions.Prepare training materials, newsletters, and guidance documents for the internal CRC portal.Leverage firm processes and programs to support the business.Oversee the usage of One Port and update intake processes as necessary.ReportingSupport geographic business units in achieving CRC objectives.Prepare monthly reporting packages for senior leadership, including financial results and trends.Compliance - ControlsOversee control performance to ensure effectiveness and timely reporting.Work with the Department of Professional Practice to ensure high-quality services.OtherWillingness to travel internationally and obtain necessary visas/work permits for India.Adjust work hours to ensure overlap with offshore management team.Employees may work beyond normal hours to meet business needs and are also supported with flexibility for personal matters.What You Bring To The RoleCanadian CPA designation or international equivalent.8+ years of experience in enterprise or ECS practice, with at least 5 years in management.Senior manager or equivalent, with at least 2 years at KPMG Canada.Minimum 5 years compilation and team management experience.Resourcefulness, technical assurance skills, and organizational abilities.Bi-lingual in French and English is an asset.Fluent in English, both written and oral.Experience overseeing teams larger than 100 individuals.Strong organizational, leadership, and process improvement skills.Comfortable working virtually and in person.Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe products.This position requires fluency in English to support national communications and documentation.KPMG BC Region Pay RangeThe expected salary range is $86,000 to $150,000, potentially with bonuses, based on location, skills, and qualifications.
