Prepares room and patient and assists radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures. Ensures proper charges are captured on a daily basis. In addition, may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Under general direction performs a variety of radiographic procedures, and has a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribing imaging radiation for diagnosis. Performs related work as required. Some special procedures which requires the use of complex equipment occasionally. Direct and supervises quality control in the department. BLS/CPR required. A.R.R.T. preferred.Venipuncture Certificate as preferred.1 year previous experience in an acute care hospital preferred.Hospital Mandatory Education Requirements: Orientation, Environment of Care, OSHA, Infection Control, Abuse/Neglect, and Ethics.
