The Opportunity: We’re looking for two (2) Health Care Aides to join our Lifestyle Options - Terra Losa team on a casual basis. In this role, you will work with a team to provide inclusive, resident-centered care that promotes dignity and independence, under the direction of a Licensed Practical Nurse and Supervisor. What you’ll do: Provide high-quality care in alignment with each resident’s individualized care plan. Support daily living needs including personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and recreational activities. Complete safe and appropriate medication assistance in accordance with current standards. Perform authorized and delegated procedures to meet specific resident needs. Communicate observations and concerns to nurses, AHS Case Managers, and other health professionals. Accurately document service hours and all activities performed for residents. Qualifications: Certified Health Care Aide, registered with the Alberta HCA Directory. Experience with elderly, disabled, and palliative care preferred. Delivers person-centered care and involves residents and families in care planning. Demonstrates emotional intelligence and strong communication skills in English. May be exposed to infectious diseases; follows safety protocols and hygiene standards.
