This is a critical role that requires expertise in health and safety practices, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills with partner companies on the project.## Key Responsibilities* Work to establish a strong reporting culture on the project.* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international health and safety regulations specific to nuclear projects. Stay updated on any changes in legislation and standards.* Risk Assessment and Management: Support risk assessments for all phases of the project, identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate these risks.* Safety Audits and Inspections: Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure all safety measures are being followed. Document findings and recommend corrective actions where necessary.* Incident Investigation: Support investigation of any incidents or near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.* Training and Development: Provide ongoing health and safety training to all project personnel. Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable about the latest safety procedures and best practices.* Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on health and safety performance, incidents, and compliance.
