Lovelytics is a trusted partner for many of the most high-profile enterprise clients in Media & Entertainment, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Retail & CPG, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Financial Services.We’re building a new data governance capability for one of our impressive clients and we’re looking for a Data Governance Lead Consultant who can drive the delivery of professional services including the creation and management of metadata management and data quality solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, asking the right questions, and translating business needs into world-class data governance solutions.You’ll work closely with data owners and stewards, data governance leaders, business users, and technical stakeholders to help ensure that the new data capabilities are designed and built to deliver superior business value.This role is not open to sponsorship at this timePrimary ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the data governance team to meet with business stakeholders across departments and understand current governance requirements capabilities and assist in designing and operationalizing new capabilitiesAssist in delivering the deployment of data governance operating models and processesCreate and deliver change management and training materialsAssist in the deployment of technical solutions including Databricks Unity Catalog and other data catalog and quality toolsetsDrive the creation and implementation of governance policies and proceduresHelp improve internal documentation standards and support clear communication between business and technical teamsOur Ideal Candidate's Skills and Experiences3–5 years of experience delivering data management or data governance solutions, preferably in data lakehouse environmentsProficiency in data governance capabilities as defined by the DAMA-DMBOKStrong skills in data governance toolsets like Atlan, Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, or AnomaloExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesExperience with data projects (ETL, data modeling, reporting) is a plus, but deep engineering experience is not requiredFamiliarity with DatabricksWhat We Promise YouExciting projects with great clients in varying departments and verticals across the worldThe ability to work closely with experienced data governance and data management leaders and quickly grow and expand your skillsetThe ability to work closely with all sizes of companies, ranging from Fortune 100 to small local businessesA workplace where you are encouraged to challenge the status quo and develop new technologies, methodologies, and processesA diverse team consisting of data gurus, experience seekers, and entrepreneurial minds that are always pushing to be betterLovelytics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
