Analyst, Canadian Securities Settlements Join to apply for the Analyst, Canadian Securities Settlements role at RBC. What is the opportunity? As a Settlements Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the flow of trades from source systems such as TOMs and Apex flow correctly into settlement systems such as CDS, Opics, and RIMMs. You will also prepare reports and ensure that the cash and position reconciliations are accurate. What will you do? Work constructively in a team environment Aid in managing volumes and organizing workflow Ensure all trades are processed through OPICS on a daily basis Possess good knowledge of the products and systems required to accomplish daily responsibilities Assist with daily reconciliation and balancing to resolve any cash breaks Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensure processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk On an ongoing basis will assist Associate Director Fixed Income Operations with any ad hoc requirements/tasks What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma (preferably in Finance) Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines Demonstrated experience working with Excel and macros (don’t need to create them) Nice-to-have 1-2 years Investment/Securities Industry experience Experience working with OPICS, APEX and CDS.
