This is a foundational role where you'll define the technical architecture that enables AI capabilities across our organization. You'll be part of a fast-moving, cross-functional team driving AI adoption at scale. Given the rapidly evolving nature of GenAI, we value learning agility and systems thinking over specific tool experience.What You'll DoPlatform ArchitectureDesign scalable, secure GenAI infrastructure that serves multiple business unitsDefine integration patterns between GenAI services and existing enterprise systemsCreate technical standards and guidelines for AI model deployment and managementArchitect data flows for training, fine-tuning, and inference pipelinesDesign MCP (Model Context Protocol) schemas and integration patterns for AI tool connectivityTechnology StrategyEvaluate and recommend GenAI platforms (cloud providers, model serving infrastructure, vector databases)Design model governance frameworks including version control, A/B testing, and rollback strategiesDefine observability and monitoring approaches for AI system performance and costsCreate disaster recovery and business continuity plans for AI-dependent processesCross-Functional CollaborationTranslate business requirements from product managers into technical architecturePartner with security and compliance teams to ensure AI governance standardsGuide engineering teams on implementation patterns and best practicesCommunicate technical decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholdersWhat You BringEssential Experience7+ years in solutions architecture, platform engineering, or similar technical leadership rolesStrong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and distributed systemsExperience with API design, microservices architecture, and data pipeline orchestrationTrack record of building platforms that scale across multiple teams and use casesExperience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementation or similar tool integration frameworksStrongly PreferredHands-on experience with ML infrastructure, model serving, or data science platformsFamiliarity with vector databases, embedding strategies, or search/retrieval systemsExperience with containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps practicesBackground in regulated industries or environments requiring strong governanceNice to HaveDirect experience with LLM APIs, RAG architecture, or prompt engineering automationKnowledge of ML operations (MLOps) tools and practicesUnderstanding of AI safety, bias mitigation, or responsible AI practicesTechnical EnvironmentCloud Platforms: AWS and Azure (multi-cloud strategy)Data Stack: Highly varied across business units and acquired companies - experience with heterogeneous data environments essentialSecurity Requirements: Enterprise-grade security and compliance standardsIntegration Needs: Complex ecosystem requiring flexible integration patternsWe're building something new and recognize that the "perfect" candidate doesn't exist yet.
