POSTING CLOSE D ATE:January 20, 2026 Join a specialized team at the intersection of public and private markets investing. The Listed Infrastructure team brings a unique perspective – a long‑term, private markets approach to publicly traded infrastructure assets. We are seeking an Associate level candidate with infrastructure experience in public markets, or private infrastructure professionals with an interest in listed markets. THE OPPORTUNITY The Associate (Listed Infrastructure) is a member of the group’s investment team and assists in conducting due diligence and analysis of potential infrastructure investment opportunities, the execution of transactions, and the monitoring of existing portfolio investments, focused predominantly on listed investment opportunities. The Associate plays a key role in supporting the investment activities of the department. The Associate has a strong understanding of corporate finance principles, listed markets and infrastructure as a sector. The Associate also supports international opportunity sets and provides a global perspective and outlook. Above all else, the Associate brings a long‑term value investing mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. WHAT YOU BRING Minimum 2-5 years of experience, ideally in investment management (preference for institutional investment experience), private equity, investment banking, management consulting, corporate M&A, or other suitable background Undergraduate university degree and/or MBA with emphasis on finance and investment analysis Strong understanding of private or public markets investing and a sound understanding of corporate finance principles Strong financial analysis and valuation skills Analytical and problem‑solving abilities Strong financial model building skills Effective presentation skills Excellent business writing skills Strong interpersonal skills and function as a team player Preferred Completion of or be working towards completion of a relevant professional designation (e.g., CFA, CBV, LLB, or recognized accounting designation) Previous investment experience within infrastructure or public markets WHAT YOU GET TO DO Conduct general industry, company, and fund research Assist in analyzing direct or fund investments Assist in conducting due diligence for investment opportunities: evaluating past investment and/or financial performance, quality of management team and key value drivers of investments Conduct research to support investments and investment ideas Assist in the monitoring of existing investments and analysis Assist in the valuation of portfolio investments Travel, when required, for due diligence or oversight of portfolio investments Assist in preparation of long‑term and tactical portfolio strategies Assist in transaction origination activities SALARY RANGE The annualized base salary range for this Victoria-based role is CAD $112,000 to $136,000. BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance‑based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off. We pay our people competitively in the markets in which we operate and with consideration for internal equity and job structure. The base salary will consider factors such as the individual's skill set, experience, and internal equity. We aim for actual pay to be around the market median for expected performance and the upper quartile for excellent performance. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and expertise.
