This role will primarily focus on defining test activities and strategies and on test execution to enable successful product demonstration (V&V) of the Battery module.If you thrive in a dynamic, hands-on engineering environment, this role is a strong match. You will take ownership, work autonomously, and shape how test activities are carried out, with a strong emphasis on technical variety — moving between defining test strategies, setting up and operating test benches, and collaborating with engineering teams across continents.Your responsibilitiesAct as the primary test focal point in Canada, representing the Test team in cross-functional activities with engineering, certification and operations.Liaise with product and system development teams to capture test needs, including the team in Switzerland.Define appropriate test set-ups to provide data in support of prototype development, qualification, verification and demonstration of Safety of Flight Tests.Create documentation, including technical descriptions, test procedures and reports.Execute complex tests involving electrical, mechanical, software, control and instrumentation elements, with safety as a priority.Coordinate test activities with both in-house and external suppliers.Manage external suppliers.Manage configuration of test assets to ensure traceability of test activities.Assist test and development teams with troubleshooting, debugging and lessons learned.Track and log activities as required and provide timely formal and informal status updates to project management.Lead test bench assembly, commissioning, instrumentation, wiring and basic mechanical integration.Independently operate, maintain, and adapt test benches on site, ensuring readiness.Support operational readiness by managing consumables, test equipment, and site-level logistics.Your profileUniversity degree in a relevant engineering discipline.Enjoys a role with variety and may be involved in planning, electrical/mechanical design, technical documentation, test bench assembly and commissioning, or testing.Ideally experience in the Aerospace industry or other highly regulated domains (Automotive, etc.).Experience in electronics and electrical system testing.Good awareness of safety challenges associated with batteries and high voltage testing.Knowledge of LabVIEW-based systems is a strong asset.Open-minded and cooperative.Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in a small team.Comfortable balancing hands-on technical work with planning and reporting activities.Experience in both defining test plans and executing test campaigns is a strong asset.Self-starter with strong ownership and ability to manage daily priorities with limited supervision.Fluency in French and English (oral and written).This position may require occasional travel to our headquarters in Switzerland.We offer a dynamic and multicultural environment where you can grow and learn by tackling ambitious challenges to shape the future of electric aviation.
