Benefits begin the month following the hire date. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35.00 - $45.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset. Summary: Responsible for integrating, installing, testing, and providing training and support (both remote and on-site) for various automated coding and printing systems. Essential Functions: Install, set up, and troubleshoot automated grade marking, coding, and printing systems. Contribute to the development of new system concepts or the optimization and improvement of existing equipment. Actively participate in tests according to customer project specifications using hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments. Read and interpret engineered drawings and equipment specifications. Perform project quality control checkout procedures and troubleshoot any issues identified. Provide customer training upon completion of on-site commissioning. Communicate professionally and courteously with customers. Demonstrate the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and application issues on industrial machine lines. Education: Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Engineering Technologist, Trades certification or College equivalent Requirements: Must be willing to travel to our onsite location: Signode Canada ULC, 16 Cleve Court, Halton Hills, Ontario, L7G 0L7, Ontario, Canada Ability to travel to client sites in the US and throughout Quebec and Ontario 25-30%. Experience: Atleast5yearsofexperienceinautomationwithinmanufacturing/industrial. MusthavepracticalworkingexperienceinPLCProgrammingLogic(AllenBradley). Experiencewithcustomerserviceinthefieldandoverthephone. Strongknowledgeofelectricalassembly,pneumatics,andPLCs. Exposuretobasicscanningandvisionsystems.
