Description The Village of Glendale Crossing has an exciting opportunity for a Director of the Program for Active Living (PAL) to join their team. Job Details Status: Permanent Full-Time Location: 3030 Singleton Ave, London, ON Expected Start Date: January 30, 2026 The expected hiring range for this position is $58,000 to $61,000. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance. How Schlegel Villages Supports Our Team Members Competitive salary and benefits Significant opportunities for growth and development Ongoing team member appreciation incentives, rewards, and recognition Extended health benefits and retirement savings Individualized assistance for team member education and development Loans and scholarships to help our team members realize their greatest potential Financial hardship support program: Wilfred Schlegel Hope Fund A unique family culture To be successful as our new Director of the PAL, you will: Have a degree in kinesiology with a focus on psychomotor behavior and exercise rehabilitation Be a member in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario Provide leadership and direction for the development and evaluation of comprehensive operational policies and programs for the Village PAL program Provide leadership, support, and evaluate PAL programs and projects including restorative care, restraints, falls, care conferences, and research-to-practice initiatives Coordinate with external stakeholders including the LHIN regarding OT/PT services, vendor relations for application resident equipment, external service providers for additional therapy/exercise programs Participate in village interdisciplinary team meetings or committees as appropriate, while communicating and working in collaboration with other interdisciplinary team members Provide leadership to the PAL coordinator(s) and supports PAL students, volunteers and contracted therapy services who assist with the PAL program Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the role It would be an asset if our new Director of the PAL has: Experience working in a long-term care setting Current HerzQ level of CPR You can be you while being a part of our family.
