Health & Safety Officer - Residential Contractor - Dublin

Our client is a leading Residential Contractor with large scale development projects based in Kildare, Meath & Drogheda. They are seeking an experienced H&S officer to manage the H&S function for the company. The role will be based in the Blanchardstown Head Office with regular visits to sites based in Kildare, Meath, and Drogheda.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and advice to site-based personnel and others.
- Proper reporting of accidents, incidents, and near misses in an accurate and timely fashion and assist with investigations.
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments as required.
- Ensure HSE policies and procedures are fully implemented and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Assist with the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate HSE lessons learnt and other initiatives properly.
- Provide a proactive approach to problem-solving and day-to-day health, safety, and environmental management.
Relevant H&S Qualifications and Certifications
4-5 years experience working with construction/civil contractors
Good understanding of health and safety legislation and ability to evaluate current and emerging trends in health and safety management
Self-motivated, able to quickly resolve issues, and integrate well into the senior management team
PackageSalary: €55k - €65k negotiable dependent on experience
Full-time permanent staff role with great career prospects
Office based in Blanchardstown with regular visits to sites in Kildare, Meath & Drogheda
