You’ll combine technical insurance expertise with high-touch client service to deliver retention and growth. You’ll partner closely with producers, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver a seamless experience and expand client relationships.What You’ll DoServe as the primary client contact on a defined portfolio of commercial accountsProactively engage clients well ahead of renewal dates to assess evolving needsCollaborate with brokers to market, remarket, and renew accounts to secure optimal termsRespond to client inquiries regarding coverage, policy changes, COIs, and mid-term adjustmentsIdentify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, or referralsTechnical & Underwriting CoordinationReview submission materials, prepare and present proposals, negotiate with insurersSecure favourable terms via insurer engagement and thoughtful positioningMaintain robust understanding of commercial lines coverages (property, liability, auto, etc.)Ensure all documentation, binders, and endorsements are accurate and compliantOperational Workflow & SystemsMaintain data integrity in our CRM and policy systemsEnsure policy documents, invoices, and binders are uploaded, shared, and tracked properlySupport internal workflows tied to onboarding, renewals, and client satisfaction surveysFlag process gaps or inefficiencies and suggest improvementsTeam Collaboration & Professional GrowthParticipate in standups, trainings, and 1:1 coaching with leadershipCollaborate on cross-functional initiatives (e.g. new product launches, service enhancements)Help mentor junior staff or support onboarding of new teammatesWhat You Bring3+ years in commercial lines account management, brokerage, or insurer roleRIBO Level 2 (or equivalent provincial) license requiredStrong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage structuresOutstanding organizational skills and attention to detail—nothing slips through the cracksExcellent verbal & written communication; ability to translate complex topics clearlyComfortable using systems and tools like CRM, policy management, and analyticsGrowth mindset—eager to learn, take ownership, and push for continuous improvementWhy Join Summit?Be part of a high-growth, mission-driven brokerage transforming insurance in CanadaPotential equity upside for top performersA culture rooted in autonomy, transparency, and real impactFlexible work arrangements and a supportive team environmentReal opportunity to grow your career and influence business directionSummit is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
