You will play a key role in building and optimizing web applications, storefronts, and custom features using React, Jinja, HTML/CSS with Tailwind, and Liquid for Shopify.This role combines frontend excellence, templating expertise, and full-stack adaptability, ensuring seamless integration between design, development, and business requirements. As a technical leader, the individual will guide frontend integration efforts, ensure code quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient digital solutionsHow will you support the team?Lead the implementation of responsive, performant, and accessible frontend interfaces.Develop and maintain applications using React.js and reusable component libraries.Integrate backend services and templates using Jinja and other server-side rendering tools.Customize and extend Shopify storefronts using the Liquid templating language.Implement pixel-perfect designs with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.Collaborate with Designers, Developers, and Product Managers to align technical execution with business goals.Mentor junior developers and uphold coding best practices, performance optimization, and clean architectureThe people who thrive with us have:College or bachelor’s degree in Programming, Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong experience with templating engines: Jinja (Python-based) and Liquid (Shopify)Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design methodologiesExperience with eCommerce platforms, especially Shopify and headless CMS integrations, being an asset.Familiarity with backend frameworks and APIs for full-stack integrationStrong understanding of Bitbucket workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practicesExcellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skillsLeadership qualities: ability to guide teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.Don't miss this opportunity to join an exceptional teamLaura Canada is a family-owned retailer housing two iconic women’s fashion apparel brands, Laura and Melanie Lyne.
