MS Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant (Finance) - remote Toronto, Ontario, Canada (remote) NTT DATA is seeking an MS Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant (Finance) to join our team in Toronto, ON (remote). The role plays a key part in translating business requirements into D365 F&O solutions, providing guidance on functional design and configuration, and supporting testing and training. Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and analyze functional requirements. Translate business requirements into effective Microsoft D365 F&O solutions, including configuration and design for module integration. Facilitate the implementation and support of Microsoft D365 F&O to enhance business processes while resolving complex situations and handling operational escalations. Identify and conduct required testing, including defining/supporting acceptance testing and gathering feedback from pre-release testers. Participate in each phase of full‑cycle Microsoft D365 F&O implementations and organize working sessions with different stakeholders and team members. Provide user training and documentation on specific solutions to ensure effective use of systems. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure effective implementation and integration with other systems. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O and related software applications. Provide end‑user support and troubleshooting for Microsoft D365 F&O ERP system. Conduct business process analysis and identify key areas for improvement. Monitor and actively resolve incidents, service requests and demand items through the Lallemand ITSM Framework. Configure chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting definitions, period close, allocations, journals. Configure vendor setup, invoice journal, payment proposal, workflows. Configure customer invoicing, cash receipts, credit and collections. Configure asset acquisition, depreciation books, transfers, and disposals. Configure bank reconciliation, payment processing, positive pay, sales/use/VAT tax configuration, withholding tax, and tax reporting. Experience with Electronic Reporting (ER) framework and intercompany accounting setup. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, accounting, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations, or equivalent. Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations – Finance module. Proven ability to identify and formalize business needs, convert them into instances of use, user case histories and/or test cases. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are an asset. NTT DATA is an equal opportunity employer.
