Overview Associate Veterinarian – Parkland Veterinary Hospital (Sylvan Lake, AB) Parkland Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our independently owned, small-animal practice. We are a progressive and team-focused clinic committed to excellence in patient care, client education, and strengthening the human-animal bond. Responsibilities Providing quality medical care in an ethical and professional manner Conducting routine and emergency physical examinations and diagnostics Diagnosing diseases and abnormal conditions, and determining the best treatment plans Performing medical and surgical treatments, including vaccinations, wound care, dentistry, and obstetrical procedures Maintaining accurate and timely medical records Educating clients and fostering strong, lasting relationships built on trust and communication Participating in continuing education and promoting a positive practice image Qualifications Who We’re Looking For Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice Veterinary Medicine in Alberta Passionate about small animal medicine and client service Excellent communicators with a positive, team-oriented attitude Dedicated to ongoing learning and professional growth What We Offer Competitive base salary with a production component Comprehensive benefits package Access to modern diagnostic and surgical equipment Opportunities for continuing education and professional development Supportive, collaborative team culture Location Located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Parkland Veterinary Hospital offers the best of both worlds—small-town community living with easy access to urban amenities and outdoor recreation.
