The successful candidate will lead a team of 16 fellowship trained physicians who provide comprehensive and specialized psychiatric services to children and youth, age 0-18, and families. We pride ourselves on an academic environment that encompasses many clinical opportunities including inpatients, outpatients, eating disorders, urgent consultation, consult liaison services, substance use and concurrent disorders, neuropsychology, neurodevelopmental disorders, therapeutic school-based services, infant and early childhood mental health, trauma treatment, and numerous community collaborations. Candidates must be eligible for a full-time academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa. Eligibility for a license to practice medicine with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is mandatory. Candidates must be certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Canada or equivalent from another country.
