Role Mission

Our client is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with an Azure Cloud background to become a valued member of their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the management and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure, the implementation of CI/CD processes, and ensuring the overall reliability and security of our Azure-based projects.

Deliverables
  • Azure DevOps Administration: Administer Azure DevOps, configuring, deploying, and maintaining computational resources on the Azure cloud.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Implement CI/CD processes and solutions in alignment with the Azure Well-Architected Framework to ensure efficient and dependable software delivery.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Strategize and test disaster recovery protocols while maintaining comprehensive infrastructure and solution documentation.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC): Develop infrastructure-as-code (IAC) using Terraform and automate infrastructure deployment through Azure DevOps.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with data engineers, developers, product owners, and project engineers to ensure project scoping aligns with business objectives.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Engage in close collaboration with internal teams, including Security, Advanced Consulting, and Professional Services, to craft comprehensive solutions for our clients.
  • Azure Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in the management of a diverse range of Azure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, Azure storage, Azure Active Directory, Azure Subscriptions, Azure policies, Azure DNS, Azure Load Balancer, and Auto Scaling.
  • Scripting Skills: Showcase proficiency in Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI, utilizing automation for efficient task execution and resource management.
  • Azure Services Knowledge: Exhibit familiarity with a wide array of Azure services, including Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, as well as Azure Services such as B2C, App Services, VMs, CosmosDB, SQL Server, Databricks, Synapse, Front Door, App Gateway, Defender for Cloud, Container Registries, App Insights, Log Analytics, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, API Management, Azure Alerts, WAF, Logic App, Azure Caches for Redis, PostgreSQL, Function App, and SharePoint.
About you
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a valuable asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in Azure cloud administration, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Scripting skills in Python, or other relevant languages.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • An understanding of security and compliance in DevOps practices.
Must have
  • Python and Azure, SQL(basic), working knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
