Position Overview National Account Manager – Canada (WMT and Key Accounts) at Moose Toys. Classified as Exempt, Full Time. Reports to Vice President, Head of Canada. Role Objectives The National Account Manager – Canada is responsible for creating and leading a strategy for growth aligned with Moose’s overall company objectives, leading day-to-day business relationships with key retailers, and overall management of selling Moose Toys into Canada. Primary responsibilities include implementing a sales plan with the intent to maximize sales volume and distribution opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts at the category level, assisting in the development and execution of retail programs from conception to sell‑through, and delivering a best‑in‑class retail customer experience. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in children’s toys. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. Strong working knowledge of Walmart’s planning and execution process. Fluency in Retail Link. Responsibilities Sales Execution: Act as the internal lead to maximize sales execution and serve as the central point for the National team; develop promotional and shipment plans that align with the goals of Moose and key retailers; help ensure efficient POP execution. Forecasting and Planning: Maintain open communication and collaboration with key merchants; update and maintain forecast by SKU based on current trends, real‑time information from retailers, and market indicators; identify inventory gaps and liabilities; create future season forecasts with reference to brand life cycle, historical data, and company objectives. Strategy: Drive the execution of the strategic sales plan for retailers and regularly monitor and report progress to Senior Management; nurture the Joint Business Plan partnership to ensure long‑term growth. Analytics: Gather and interpret data to set objectives, identify opportunities, and improve processes within the team. Travel & Working Hours Travel: 10-15% national and international. Work hours: 8:30‑5:30 AM, Monday–Thursday; 8:30‑3:00 PM, Friday; additional hours may be required due to multiple time‑zones. Physical Demands Regular duties include standing, sitting, talking, hearing, using hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and other office equipment; may need to reach, stoop, kneel; light to moderate lifting; frequent communication with employees and third parties; regular, predictable attendance required. Work Environment Moderate noise; indoor business office environment with windows; light foot traffic; ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.
