Oversee the administration of the NB Drug Plans by the third-party administrator, including directing development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and strategies while managing day-to-day operational questions and issues. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the pharmaceutical industry, community pharmacy, and the private insurance industry. Collaborate with federal, provincial, and territorial jurisdictions on pan‑Canadian pharmaceutical initiatives. Lead or participate in special projects supporting the Pharmaceutical Services Branch's Strategic Plan. Provide strategic advice on pharmaceutical issues to the Department of Health's senior leadership, other government departments, and other Department of Health branches. Perform various other duties as required. Essential Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy and a minimum of eight (8) years of recent progressive experience in different pharmacy practice settings, which includes a minimum of 3 years experience in drug plan management, pharmaceutical sector, or government. Eligibility for licensure with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists. Written and spoken competence in English (please state your language capability on your application). Asset Qualifications Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics or a related field. Experience with leading or managing complex, multi‑faced projects or strategic initiatives. Experience with negotiation processes and strategies. Experience with contract management. Knowledge of health policy and publicly funded health systems.
