During the course of this 36-month opportunity, the CPA student incumbent will provide project support and analysis to various divisions within the Treasury Board Secretariat and Department of Finance. The incumbent will be exposed to a wide variety of challenging and interesting work assignments and will receive an opportunity to gain experience in the fields of public sector financial reporting, internal audit, financial systems management, process and system documentation and improvement, and various other consulting services. These assignments are designed to challenge an incumbent’s ability, while developing new skill sets and building on existing competencies, all of which are required to complete the CPA designation. The CPA incumbent will progress through various phases of competency development based upon specific criteria and progress will be regularly reviewed with an assigned Counseling Member. University degree (preferably in commerce, business or a related field) acceptable for entry into the CPA Atlantic School of Business Professional Education Program2. Proof of eligibility (through submission of a university transcript proving completion of all CPA preparatory courses) to enroll in the CPA Atlantic School of Business Professional Education Program.
