Tasks:
  1. Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction
  2. Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
  3. Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
  4. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
  5. Participate in machinery installation, repair and maintenance
  6. Computer-aided design (CAD)
  7. Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures
  8. Estimate costs and materials
  9. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications
  10. Prepare contracts and tenders
  11. Prepare standards and schedules
  12. Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants
  13. Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects
  14. Technical writing
  15. Test machines and equipment
