Job Offer — General Manager (Luxury Glamping Resort) Bel Air Tremblant is looking for an experienced general manager with experience in boutique hotel environment. Our future General Manager will lead day-to-day operations and elevate the guest experience with a boutique-hotel mindset. The candidate needs to be hands‑on; he needs to be an entrepreneurial hospitality leader with strong operational experience across all departments: guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, F&B/experiences, staffing, budgeting, and service standards. He should understand how to navigate a small structure and get things done. He needs to be able to handle our accounting team, all financial data, profitability, projections. Our group is very data driven. He should preferably have experience in the province of Quebec but it is not a must; he should preferably speak French but not a must since our team is bilingual. Candidates should have a good understanding of maintenance and be able to diagnose issues to make sure that the maintenance team is properly monitored. Luxury glamping is a great market but poses more difficulties specifically as far maintenance for obvious reasons; our resort is spread on 100 acres and includes a total of 50 small buildings. The candidate needs to appreciate living in nature. Our Team Our head office is in Miami with a team of 10 people. In Tremblant our team is made up of 35 people with around 20 nationalities; we have a solid and dedicated team of associates. BelAir Tremblant is one of the newest glamping hospitality concepts on the East Coast of North America. We’re looking for a hands‑on, entrepreneurial hospitality leader with strong operational experience across all departments (guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, F&B/experiences, staffing, budgeting, and service standards). The right candidate is a team builder, detail‑driven, and excited to grow with a fast-moving, owner‑operated group. We take pride in our excellent reviews and in the consistent quality of our resort. We also operate two of the top‑rated restaurants in Mont‑Tremblant, along with one of the area’s leading spas. Beyond Canada, we run two of the most successful ultra‑luxury vacation rentals in the Caribbean. Customer service and quality control are at the core of our values, and we are looking for team members who share that mindset. Employment Details Location: Mont‑Tremblant, Québec, Canada Employment type: Full‑time, on‑site Start date: As soon as possible (flexible for the right candidate) Reports to: Ownership / Executive Team (Head Office – Miami) Yearly Salary: CAD $140,000 plus bonus based on objectives. Position Summary We are hiring a General Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations and elevate the guest experience with a boutique‑hotel mindset. This role is ideal for a hands‑on, entrepreneurial hospitality leader who thrives in a lean structure, moves fast, and enjoys being in the field with the team. You will oversee all departments—guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, F&B/experiences, staffing, budgeting, service standards, and operational excellence—while partnering closely with our accounting team to manage performance, reporting, projections, and profitability. We are a data‑driven organization: numbers matter, and execution matters even more. Key Responsibilities Operations & Guest Experience Lead the resort’s daily operations with a boutique‑hotel approach to service, consistency, and guest delight. Maintain and continuously improve SOPs, quality standards, and guest journey touchpoints. Monitor guest feedback, online reputation, and review performance; implement improvement plans quickly. Team Leadership & Culture Manage, motivate, and develop a diverse on‑site team (approximately 35 employees / 20 nationalities). Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and coach department leaders and frontline teams. Build a strong culture of accountability, hospitality, and teamwork. Financial & Performance Management Work closely with our accounting team to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Drive profitability through smart scheduling, purchasing discipline, vendor management, and operational efficiency. Track KPIs and deliver clear performance updates to ownership. Maintenance, Asset Care & Site Management Ensure proactive maintenance across a large, nature‑based site (glamping requires strong preventive systems). Diagnose issues effectively, prioritize repairs, and supervise the maintenance team and external contractors. Maintain safety standards, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality property presentation year‑round. F&B, Experiences & Revenue Oversee coordination with F&B and experiences to ensure brand‑aligned quality and guest satisfaction. Support programming, upsells, partnerships, and on‑site experiences that enhance revenue and reputation. Candidate Profile (Required) Proven experience as a General Manager / Hotel Manager / Operations Leader in a boutique hotel or high‑end hospitality environment. Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to “roll up your sleeves” in a small structure. Strong operational knowledge across guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, staffing, and service standards. Comfortable with financial management: budgets, P&L thinking, forecasting, and performance tracking. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to execute quickly. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (valid Canadian work papers required). Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Québec (an asset, not required). French‑speaking (an asset, not required—our team is bilingual). Experience in nature‑based hospitality, glamping, eco‑resorts, or multi‑building sites is a strong plus. Comfort living/working close to nature and managing a spread‑out resort environment. Work Environment & Expectations On‑site leadership role requiring strong presence on property. Schedule flexibility is essential (hospitality hours, weekends/holidays as needed). A dynamic, owner‑operated environment where initiative and accountability are valued.
