DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Solution Architect for a client in Toronto. They are looking for a Solution Architects with experience working on Cloud and Development focused projects within the Banking sector.Responsibilities:Lead cloud strategy and transformation, cloud migration roadmap, or cloud-native application architecture design based on client needs and industry trends.Produce estimates for the system migration, design, development and testing.Embrace Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) and Agile engineering practices in client engagements.Review and guide the technical team's deliverables to ensure overall quality and compliance with the cloud architecture and business requirements.Ensure that enterprise architecture standards, policies, and procedures are enforced in client engagements.Lead, mentor, and coach the technical team on client engagements.Assist with proposals and pre-sales activities.Lead development to ALETHA’s intellectual property and best practices in Cloud Architecture, Cloud Application Design, Cloud Delivery Frameworks or Process.Foster and maintain close working relationships with clients.Requirements:Minimum Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science or EngineeringAt least 10 years of development/architecture experiencePrior professional experience in application development, system integration, cloud native development, cloud infrastructure, and platform-as-a-serviceUnderstanding of cloud migration challenges, solutions and accelerators for various public and private cloud offering in FS industriesAt least 8 years of experience with system design or development in one or more of the following: Java, C#, .NET, Node.js, Angular JS, PythonExperiences in architecting or developing applications in either Azure or AWS or GCPExperience with multi-cloud integration architecture and hybrid cloud integrationGood understanding of cloud chargeback model and cost optimization concepts in design and roadmapFamiliar with capabilities of various platform services (e.g. Compute, Storage, Web, Developer, Integration, Data, Security, or Management) from the cloud vendorsStrong knowledge and experiences with microservices, serverless, functions, event-driven programming, REST-oriented API, or other cloud native architecturesStrong knowledge and experiences with containers and orchestration in the cloud (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud Foundry)Strong knowledge and experiences with Continuous Integration and Delivery (CD/CI) and Agile engineering practicesGood overall business knowledge in financial industries (i.e. one or more in retail banking, commercial banking, capital markets, wealth management, insurance, pension fund, and fintech).Strong communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgmentPreferably with certification as an either AWS Solution Architect (Associate or Pro) or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert #J-18808-Ljbffr
