Software Engineer – Montreal – Up to $200,000 CAD + Exceptional Bonuses/Benefits Base pay range: CA$200,000.00/yr - CA$200,000.00/yr Location: Montreal (Hybrid) Join a front office tech team building real-time risk and analytics platforms used directly by traders. You’ll develop Python-based tools that power trading decisions, working closely with quants to turn models into production‑grade systems. Perfect for engineers who want to code where it matters and get closer to the markets. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python-based risk and analytics systems used in live trading. Collaborate with quants and traders to implement and optimise models. Design clean, efficient, and scalable code for front office applications. Ensure reliability, performance, and accuracy across production systems. Qualifications Strong programming skills in Python with 6+ years of relevant experience. Solid computer science fundamentals (degree ideally but not essential). Proven ability to tackle complex challenges with initiative and agility in high‑pressure environments.
