We are seeking an Audit & Assurance Manager to join our team and provide exceptional service to our clients. Like us, you appreciate the big picture while also understanding the importance of the details. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain client relationships to deliver outstanding service, gather information, resolve issues, and recommend business and process improvements. Understand clients' industries to identify key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical developments. Lead client-facing teams in planning, scoping, and completing assurance (audit and review) engagements. Oversee and review fieldwork on assurance engagements, ensuring progress aligns with budgets and deadlines. Manage engagement planning and scheduling, as well as project financials (including budgets, WIP, billing, etc.). Train and mentor staff to enhance their technical and professional skills, providing performance feedback along the way. REQUIREMENTS Completion of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm. Working knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and/or Canadian Accounting Standards for Not-For-Profit Organizations (ASNPO). Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles and standards. Collaborative and effective communicator who meets the needs of clients and colleagues. Experience with accounting and tax software such as CaseWare and TaxPrep. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. #J-18808-Ljbffr
