Summary:

We are looking for a talented Senior/Lead Software Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team. This is a long-term full-time (40 hrs/wk) role. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing the highest quality to our high-loaded workforce management application. We are specifically looking for a professional living in one of the following countries: Poland, Spain, Romania, Brazil, the US, or Canada.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Creating automated tests in JavaScript and TypeScript using Playwright framework for test automation.
  2. Creating API tests.
  3. Maintaining automation project documentation.
  4. Developing and maintaining internal automation libraries.
  5. Help implement and drive automated testing strategies across multiple systems and platforms.
  6. Work with the QA team, software developers, engineering and product managers, DevOps, security, and other core teams to help drive a test strategy based on Agile methodologies and implement best practices.
  7. Provide guidance and mentoring for Functional QA Engineers.
Requirements

From 3 years of commercial experience in AQA. Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Playwright for test automation. Experience in writing automated tests for API, database, and UI using the mentioned frameworks. Knowledge of main autotest design patterns, test design techniques, and ability to apply them within automation. Experience with Docker. Experience with GitHub Actions. Knowledge of SQL and understanding of REST API principles. Ability to find solutions independently and work in a team. Proactivity, willingness to learn, improve skills, and share knowledge. English level proficiency: B2 or higher. Actively contribute and drive the ongoing improvement of the testing process, knowledge, quality, and best practice.

Nice to have:
  • Experience with other automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AllureTestOps.
  • Experience with load testing: k6.
