HVDC technology is increasingly becoming a major player in this energy paradigm shift, enabling large-scale renewable energy generation such as offshore wind or large interconnectors.As an Engineer – HVDC, you will work closely with regional and global HVDC and power transmission experts within Jacobs to support and lead ongoing HVDC projects, as well as business development and proposal support with clients including renewable developers, transmission owners/developers, and utilities.The successful candidate shall demonstrate experience and technical knowledge in electrical high-voltage engineering, with emphasis on HVDC, through past experience with consulting engineering firms, developers, or OEMs. Knowledge of electrical design/studies, specifications, and commissioning related to HVDC systems is preferred. Familiarity with the offshore wind market is a plus.We value collaboration and believe in-person interactions are crucial for our culture and client delivery.
