Click here Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Coordinator, Engineering, you will be part of the Engineering Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Promote health and safety by implementing industry best practices across both underground and open pit teams. Supervise the Drill & Blast teams, setting annual goals, monitoring progress, and conducting performance evaluations. Plan and organize daily tasks for team members, prioritizing according to operational needs. Coach and mentor team members on technical skills and professional development. Attend daily and weekly production meetings for both Underground and Open Pit operations. Build and execute QA/QC programs for drill and blast processes in both mining environments. Design stope and blast layouts, preparing loading/timing prints, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Collaborate with stakeholders from design through stope closure, including performance analysis and optimization. Capture optimization opportunities and implement them within the Drill & Blast teams. Qualifications 5+ years experience in Drill & Blast, with exposure to both underground and open pit operations. Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office suites and Deswik. Note that the official working language at Meliadine is English. Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest. Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.
