Capital Markets Business Analyst

We are looking for a Capital Markets Business Analyst for a contract Hybrid role in Mississauga. Its a 3 days onsite at client site. Please take a look at the job description. Being capable of understanding regulatory rule sets in detail and their applicability to client's in-scope entities and clients2. Lead out on complex analysis of Client Data using excel3. Where applicable work with a more junior team of BAs to complete simple analysis tasks3. Analyze and dissect large data sets according to applicable rule requirements4. Design and create intelligent metrics and reports for multiple audiences6. Work with cross functional areas, a wide variety of business lines and often senior stakeholders to understand requirements and parameters for scoping8. Ensure a robust approach to delivery ensuring the control framework is adhered to and enhancing controls where gaps identified9. Be able to quickly grasp complex problems, complete accurate analysis and develop solutions e.g. design of formulas10. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills facing off against multiple front office Trades, Sales and Business Managers.11. Drive regulatory compliance to fulfil obligations relating to applicable regulatory changeKey Skills Required1. Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience. Must be an energetic self-starter / able to drive initiatives with minimal direction.2. Strong MS Excel capability, utilizing large data sets to identify, drive and implement projects.3. Good knowledge of Markets products and environments, and a working knowledge of current regulatory change requirements, including compliance requirements and its implementation.4. Seasoned Business Analysist experience in complex situations (Tier 1 banks or Top 4 consulting firms) working within Regulatory projects.5. Ability to navigate large / complex / diverse teams and projects6.
