Director of Care/IPAC Manager - Full-Time Join Responsive Group Inc. for a leadership role that blends clinical oversight with infection prevention management. You will guide a dedicated care team, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with long‑term care regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead the nursing team to deliver person‑centered resident care. Develop, implement, and evaluate policies in partnership with regulatory agencies. Manage the financial resources of the nursing department—budgeting, staffing, and purchasing. Oversee the Infection Prevention and Control program—screening, surveillance, audits, and outbreak response. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff, families, and external partners to promote resident safety and quality of life. Drive continuous quality improvement using data analysis and trend monitoring. Maintain legislative compliance with Ontario regulations and the Long‑Term Care Act. Qualifications Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with current registration in Ontario. Current NAC ICP certificate and certification from Infection Control and Epidemiology (LTC‑CIC) or a commitment to complete within 3 years. Minimum 2 years experience in infection control in long‑term or acute care. Minimum 2 years managerial experience and proficiency in quality improvement. Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of the Residents’ Bill of Rights, RAI‑MDS, and long‑term care legislation. Benefits Competitive wages and employee benefits.
