The role focuses on testing, validation, and automation for Cisco APIC Controllers and Nexus 9K Series Switches, ensuring high-quality delivery of network features and functionality.ResponsibilitiesPerform network testing and validation for Cisco APIC Controllers and Nexus 9000 Series platforms.Conduct feature testing, Dev-Test, and end-to-end validation for new enhancements and releases.Develop and execute test scripts using Python, ensuring full coverage of test scenarios.Implement automated test cases using PyATS (mandatory).Validate L3 routing protocols, flow tables, and REST API–based connections.Work with NX-OS to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and verify switch behaviors.Document test results, defects, and improvements to support continuous integration and delivery workflows.Collaborate with development, QA, and network engineering teams for defect resolution and feature improvements.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in network testing, Dev-Test, and feature validation.Proficiency in Python programming and test automation.Hands‑on experience with PyATS (mandatory).Solid understanding of Layer 3 routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.).Knowledge of REST APIs, API interactions, and flow tables.Working knowledge of NX-OS, Cisco switching, and APIC environments.Ability to write, execute, and optimize automated test cases.Experience working in agile and fast‑paced engineering environments.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesSoftware DevelopmentLocationKanata, Ontario, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
