You are a Senior Art Director with a passion for bringing brands to life through crafting innovative and compelling creative solutions for clients in our ever-changing world.
Senior Art Directors are responsible for deeper brainstorming and leading in developing creative concepts and ideas for advertising campaigns, as well as other creative projects across departments. You are able to think strategically and come up with innovative and compelling ideas that align with the client's objectives autonomously with success.
As a Senior Art Director, your curiosity, understanding of clients' businesses, and adaptability to varied projects is evident in your ability to deliver integrated, cross-channel initiatives, maintain on-brand concepts, and handle tight deadlines with precision. Your high-quality art direction, layout, and design skills, as well as your creative aptitude, ensure the delivery of polished and award-worthy work.
Responsibilities:
- Creative expertise, that plays a critical role in the conceptual phase of projects and working seamlessly with a team to deliver successful projects
- Strong leadership skillset in order to guide vendors and internal partners effectively with the ability to effectively translate ideas to these teams
- Proficiency in layout and design for a variety of media
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including group presentation managing up and down
- Energized and eager to support various team members, including creative directors, project managers/producers, copywriters, designers, and digital teams to consistently deliver polished, award-worthy work
- Conceptualization and execution of integrated, cross-channel initiatives while understanding the needs, motivations, and aspirations of the client to create compelling and effective designs
- Ability to ensure daily deliverables are met in a fast-paced environment with extensive client interaction + proactivity
- Leadership of agency developed concepts ensuring they are on-brand, on-strategy, practical, and cost-effective for alignment with department teams
- Key collaboration with Copywriter partner to develop strong creative concepts
- Present work to the Creative Director, Account Services team, and clients skillfully
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in an agency environment
- Excellent portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality art direction and design within a variety of marketing campaign and platform projects.
- Undeniable creative chops: you play a critical role in the conceptual phase of projects, and work seamlessly with your team to deliver winning projects
- Ability to translate an idea effectively and flawlessly across multiple messaging touchpoints
- Strong layout and design skills across various mediums
- Experience in creative ideation to execution for cultural awareness and diversity
- Ability to gracefully handle pressure and meet tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and opportunities with acute attention to detail
- Excellent time management, organizational, verbal, and written communications skills - comfortable with presenting to groups
- A love of collaborating with your team members – creative directors, PMs/producers, copywriters, illustrators, designers, coders – to consistently deliver polished, award-worthy work
- Provide a list of national & international accolades and awards
