Join to apply for the Advisor, Real Property Planning role at Alto. Overview Alto is building Canada’s first high‑speed train, linking Quebec City and Toronto. We’re looking for an Advisor, Real Property Planning to help ensure that land, facilities and related assets are strategically purchased and managed to support sustainable growth. The successful candidate will be based in one of our four offices: Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto or Ottawa. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the assigned project manager to coordinate real property initiatives, ensuring effective communication among senior management and peers. Prepare presentations, draft documents and create agendas for the Real Property Team. Feed the master schedule for the project in collaboration with the Project Management Team. Support project lifecycle activities, including contract administration, invoice processing, project closeout, archiving, and lessons‑learned documentation. Organize and maintain Real Property shared drives with proper version control and accessibility. Advise and support project managers and team members on methodologies, tools, and best practices specific to real property project management. Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a project coordinator, preferably with exposure to real property, infrastructure, or construction projects. Bachelor’s degree in real estate or a related field. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Bilingualism (French and English) required. Skills Influence – Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and foster alignment. Communication – Excellent written and verbal skills in both French and English, with the ability to prepare high‑quality materials and presentations. Collaboration – Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Results‑oriented – Proven ability to deliver on priorities and improve outcomes under tight deadlines. Analytical & Organizational – Ability to manage complex schedules, budgets and reporting requirements. Technical – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or equivalent, and MS PowerPoint. Real Property knowledge – Understanding of property acquisitions, development and management practices. Government & Regulatory awareness – Familiarity with government objectives, mandates and reporting requirements related to real property projects.
