The OSI Clinic provides specialized mental health assessment and treatment to clients and their families referred by Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), RCMP, and the Department of National Defense (DND), who are experiencing work-related psychological stress and trauma (e.g., Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; Anxiety disorders; Depression; Chronic Pain, etc.). The services of the OSI Clinic are provided by an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse clinicians, and social workers. As a member of this team, the psychologist delivers mental health treatment services to clients.Duties:Conduct evidence-based, comprehensive diagnostic interviews, and write diagnostic reports and treatment recommendations in a timely manner.Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessment instruments for diagnostic and progress monitoring purposes.Provide evidence-based psychological interventions (individual and group treatment; couples intervention is an asset).Collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.Liaise and consult with community agencies and service providers.Participate in academic activities, including supervision of trainees, teaching, and professional consultation.Contribute to hospital psychology and quality improvement initiatives.Attend and participate in discipline meetings and activities.Maintain workload measurement and data collection (e.g., CROMIS).Educate stakeholders, such as VAC District offices.Design individualized treatment plans based on assessments and in conjunction with the team.Maintain contact with referring agencies for treatment planning and referrals.Write comprehensive discharge reports with follow-up recommendations.Utilize tele-mental health and other distance technologies.Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.Follow the leadership of the Operational Stress Injuries National Network and work with the Canadian network of OSI clinics.Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines, including the Canadian Code of Ethics for psychologists and College of Psychologists of Ontario standards.Design program evaluation and satisfaction surveys.Conduct research and contribute to peer-reviewed grant proposals.Ensure safety and adhere to workplace policies and procedures.Promote a harassment-free workplace environment.Qualifications:Doctorate from a CPA/APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program.Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario; autonomous practice preferred.Authorized to practice in Clinical Psychology; experience with adult populations mandatory.CPA/APA accredited internship/residency or equivalent.Minimum five years of clinical mental health experience.Clinical experience in diagnosing and treating trauma, stress-related disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance use disorders using evidence-based approaches.Training in evidence-based therapies such as PE, CPT, EMDR, CBT, BA, MBSR.Experience in interdisciplinary service delivery models is mandatory.Experience working in military or police environments is an asset.Experience assessing military, police, or veteran populations with operational stress injuries is an asset.Sensitivity to the needs of military/police personnel with service-related mental health issues.Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles.Strong leadership and communication skills.Commitment to quality improvement, best practices, and teamwork.Effective mentoring and supervision skills.Ability to provide services via virtual platforms such as OTN.Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.Proficiency in English; bilingual (French/English) is an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
