As the Director of Engineering, you will guide a team of 4-5 project engineers, focusing on performance evaluations and team structure. This senior leadership role requires establishing priorities and ensuring effective resource allocation across various product development programs. You will also oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with certification programs and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage team performance evaluations and hiring process • Oversee laboratory testing schedules and data accuracy • Ensure regulatory compliance for product certifications • Coordinate with suppliers on technical issues • Establish engineering processes and continuous improvement strategies
Requirements: • Minimum 7 years in an engineering role, 3 in leadership • Strong knowledge of product certification processes • Experience with overseas suppliers, especially in Asia • Excellent project management skills • Technical credibility to solve complex issues
