Tasks:
  1. Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  2. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  3. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  4. Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  5. Welding experience
  6. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  7. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  8. Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  9. Service attachments and working tools
  10. Verify and repair emission control systems
  11. Perform other routine maintenance
  12. Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  13. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
  14. Operate machines and equipment
  15. Estimate costs and materials
  16. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  17. Installing machinery and equipment
  18. Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation)
  19. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  20. Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

Automotive Service Licence (310S)
Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate
Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
Construction Millwright Trade Certification

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

Welding equipment
Conveyor
Hydraulic system
Pneumatic system

Security and Safety:

Driving record check (abstract)
Driver's validity licence check

Transportation/Travel Information:

Valid driver's licence
Own vehicle
