Your expertise will help power process improvements, system reliability, and technical mentorship across our plant.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, TI, Modicon)Program and integrate ABB robots for automated processesDesign, install, and maintain electrical control systems and network infrastructureConduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics to reduce downtimeSupport commissioning of new equipment and retrofit projectsPerform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for electrical issuesMaintain up-to-date documentation of PLC programs, robot configurations, and schematicsEnsure full compliance with electrical safety standards (LOTO, codes, etc.)Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve performanceMentor and support technical staff to build in-house expertiseWhat You BringDiploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology8+ years of North American experience in industrial automation and controlsProficiency in Allen-Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000, TI Soft, and Modicon platformsStrong ABB robot programming and maintenance experienceFamiliarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, DH+, and ModbusSkilled in reading and creating electrical schematics and control circuitsTPM knowledge and CMMS experience are assetsKey Strengths for SuccessTechnical Expertise – Deep understanding of automation, PLCs, and roboticsProblem Solving – Analytical and decisive when troubleshooting complex issuesCollaboration – Strong communicator and effective cross-functional team playerWhat We OfferCompetitive salary range of $90,000–$120,000, based on experienceComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision)Company pension plan to invest in your futurePaid vacation and personal time for work-life balanceOpportunities for training, development, and advancement within the organizationLOCATION: Collingwood, ON (onsite DAILY) #J-18808-Ljbffr
