We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality environmental services backed by expert knowledge and a commitment to excellence.Position RequirementsThe successful candidate will be an integral part of the Due Diligence team and act as a Technical Advisor on projects across Canada. You will manage the full life cycle of environmental due diligence and contaminated site projects, from proposal through to delivery, and provide senior oversight on technical outputs. Your responsibilities will include managing client relationships, overseeing project budgets and schedules, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business growth.You will be responsible for a range of duties, including:Leading and managing a variety of environmental projects including Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), excess soil management, and remediation programsProviding senior review and technical oversight of project deliverablesPreparing proposals, scopes of work, and budgetsCoordinating multi-disciplinary project teams and delegating tasks effectivelyTracking project schedules, budgets, and financial performanceActing as a key liaison with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationship buildingMentoring junior and intermediate staffParticipating in peer reviews and serving as a technical advisor for key clientsSupporting Record of Site Condition (RSC) filings and the Excess Soil RegistryParticipating in fieldwork and property condition assessments (where desired)Promoting a culture of Health and Safety throughout the organizationQualificationsMinimum of a university degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline (e.g., B.A.Sc., B.Sc., B.Eng., M.Sc.)Minimum 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting industryExperience managing environmental due diligence projects, including ESA Phases I, II, and III, soil and groundwater sampling, and remediationExperience with RSC projects and excess soil regulations is considered a strong assetStrong project management, team leadership, and client communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlinesProfessional designation or eligibility (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo.)Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for occasional site travelFamiliarity with Baseline Property Condition Assessments (BPCAs) is an assetWhy Join S2S?We offer a dynamic, supportive work environment that values collaboration, integrity, and continuous learning.
