This position is responsible for the safety and security of all guests, staff and property of the resort during the day, evening and overnight. The Security Agent will participate in foot and vehicle patrols to survey the entire resort regularly for appropriate controls over noise, property damage, alarm responses, trespassing, crisis intervention and first aid calls. Performs regular foot and mobile security patrols both indoors and outdoors (all seasons in all types of weather). Provides physical security and/or cash escorts to late-night employees. Responds to fire and intrusion alarms. Responds to all noise complaints and disruptive behaviour notices, and deals with trespassers in accordance with provincial statutes and SOPs. Provides First Aid/CPR/AED when required. Documents all incidents in the security log and resolves parking issues in accordance with municipal by-law and SOPs. What Do You Need From Me? High School diploma or equivalent. Must be in possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License. Must be in possession of a valid Ontario G Driver's License. Must be 19 years of age. Previous security, police and/or military experience is an asset. Successful completion of First Aid/CPR/AED training. This role is being posted to fill a vacant position.
