Pipeline Integrity Senior Engineer Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level Job Overview ROSEN, a leading provider of asset integrity services, is seeking a temporary full-time Pipeline Integrity Senior Engineer to join the Integrity Engineering team in Calgary. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering and will perform advanced engineering analysis and consulting activities, while developing and maintaining engineering standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities Conduct pipeline risk assessments, integrity assessments, and engineering assessments. Produce high‑quality technical reports and deliverables. Conduct quality assurance checks and approval of other integrity engineers’ reports. Provide technical direction to clients regarding pipeline integrity management programs (chemical mitigation, cathodic protection, protective coatings, in‑line inspection, monitoring, etc.). Develop and provide technical input on engineering specifications, standards and procedures. Take part in developing and refining ROSEN’s best‑practice approach to integrity management. Write and present papers at conferences to further ROSEN’s technical brand. Mentor and train junior Integrity Engineers. Establish and cultivate relationships with clients. Support the sales team with clear scopes of works. Identify new opportunities through industry knowledge and research. Work closely with other company divisions to provide clients with complete solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, metallurgical preferred). Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with A.P.E.G.A. Minimum 10 years of pipeline integrity experience. Relevant experience in pipeline integrity, risk assessment and integrity inspection technologies. Knowledge of pipeline regulations in Canadian provinces (AB, BC, SK, MB, ON, QUE, CER). In‑depth experience with CSA Z662. Experience with Fitness‑for‑Service Assessments covering metal loss, deformations, and bending strain. Qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methods. Finite Element Analysis and Abaqus experience (asset). Experience with in‑line inspection or other NDE is an asset. Field operations experience is an asset. Consulting environment experience is an asset. Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Legally eligible to work in Canada.
